Golf Days

A Golf day is a great way to start off a stag do. A bit of fresh air, a bit of banter and then a few drinks at the 19th hole afterwards (the bar).

There a quite a few golf courses which allow members of the general public, but it is strongly advised to ring and book beforehand. Many courses are private ones, so by phoning first you'll immediately rule those out; and by booking a Tee-time you'll be sure they have room for you, and that you dont have to wait around for a space behind others.

You'll normally tee-off in groups of 4 or sometimes 6. Any larger and you really need to get special permission beforehand from the course.

Golf is a great day out, even if you are terrible at it. It's all a bit of fun, and you can always team up good players with bad and play alternate strokes. Often a small wager also adds a little more spice to the proceedings
